New Jersey H-2B Unskilled Worker Immigration

H-2B applications for unskilled workers must be filed by a U.S. employer who intends to fill a nonagricultural position with a foreign worker. H-2B visas are temporary visas, requiring the alien worker to return to his or her country of origin upon expiration of the position or time period. Although H-2B visas are for unskilled workers, the sponsoring employer must prove to the U.S. Department of Labor that the worker has the necessary abilities to complete the assigned job tasks.
